SurgePay
Multi-currency fintech on mobile, shipped to iOS and Android.
Naira and dollar wallets, virtual cards, stablecoins, savings and stocks in one React Native app. The flows I built moved $1M+ in its first six months.
Building mobile products that survive the real world.
Frontend and mobile engineer building fintech, government, healthcare, real-estate and developer products, from interface architecture to app-store deployment.

A few of the products, platforms and systems where the engineering problems were particularly interesting.

Enforcement, revenue and hospital apps for Oyo State, led by OYRTMA, OYO-VIO and MedicFlow, most running on dedicated Android POS terminals. Together they have processed ₦6B+.

Healthcare workflows running directly on dedicated POS hardware.
Outpatient and inpatient billing for Oyo State hospitals, on the same POS terminals that print the bill and take payment.

Location-driven real-estate marketplace built for iOS and Android.
Listings, map search and realtime chat with agents across Nigeria and Somalia, in English, Somali and Arabic, on both app stores.
Developer work memory that unifies activity across engineering tools.
A morning brief, dashboard and generated reports from your activity across GitHub, Figma, Expo, Slack, Jira and ClickUp.

I built the multi-currency mobile app end to end: virtual card management, payment and remittance flows, and real-time transaction updates, shipped to Google Play and the App Store. The flows I built moved over $1M in transaction volume in the first six months, and SurgePay went on to secure six-figure backing from the Stellar Community Fund.

I build the field applications behind Oyo State enforcement, revenue and healthcare: OYRTMA, OYO-VIO and the MedicFlow hospital records system, plus E-Haulage, Park n’ Pay, OYO-BMS and OYO-SSS. Most of them run on dedicated Android POS terminals with card payments and receipt printing. Together these systems have processed more than ₦6B in payments.

I built cross-platform apps for client products at a digital product agency. The main one was Hoydoon, a real-estate marketplace connecting people with listings and local agents, with Google Maps powering location-based search and realtime messaging between users and agents.
I designed and built library management apps for two universities, the University of Medical Sciences, Ondo and Tai Solarin Federal University of Education, and published both to Google Play and the App Store.

I built the web platform where clients request quotes and connect with verified solar installers, including the quote generation and warranty management features.
Road traffic enforcement and rider ID cards on POS terminals.
Vehicle inspection and enforcement.
Healthcare workflows running directly on dedicated POS hardware.
Haulage management for field officers.
Parking payments for vehicles and trucks.
Business registration for traders.
Waste management and whistleblowing for Oyo State.
Library app for the University of Medical Sciences, Ondo.
Some of the most interesting mobile problems begin after the UI is finished.
The POS printer wanted a file path, and the file lived in a sandbox the printing app could not see.
I had been rebuilding and reinstalling APKs for every change. The terminals only needed a new JavaScript bundle.
launchCameraAsync worked on my phone and failed on every new terminal. The hardware was there; the app to handle the intent was not.
I turn product ideas and operational workflows into software people rely on, from the first screen to the store listing and the device in someone’s hand.
I started on web platforms, moved into mobile, and now spend much of my time where apps meet hardware, networks and app-store rules.

I’m open to conversations around mobile engineering, product development and interesting technical problems.
